A great band. Debut album is bloody brilliant. On constant rotation on the headphones and home stereo. Overkill may occur but so far it's the mutts nuts. EASILY one of the albums of 2006 so far. Would love to see 'em in Whelans or somewhere similar.

I saw them playing in Barfly last month. I thought that their live sound was not quite right yet. I think the same is true if you listen to the live session they have streaming on their website. The Delorentos supported and although not a huge fan, I thought that they were a lot tighter live. The Loon is a fantastic CD though and so with more touring they will sort it out-no doubt.

am very tempted to go up to Norn Iron for that gig - definitely one of the best newish bands i've heard this year EP line-up is improving but has some way to go to match last year's line-up

Speakeasy is a great venue. But it clashes with Electric Picnic-Big problem....

Fantastic band if you like tapes n tapes check out "band of horses", looking forward to the festive season even though the world cup final is on the 9th of july,

Agreed-Band of Horses are a very good band-would be cool to get them to Ireland for a festival this Summer

i think T&T and Semifinalists will go down a treat - not quite sure how Psapp are gonna translate live with all the weird clicks, whirrs and beeps in their songs (unless they take Motormouth Jones on tour!)

yep - haven't seen in it Tower or HMV at any rate i don't think it has a European release til later in the year so it's probably just Import copies we're getting here and they're hard to come by
