nice one, anna - I recognise a lot of the same problems for bands in the south-west, although kerry and cork bands usually can count on cork city's scene... perhaps rock, metal and alternative bands thrive best in a large urban environment, acoustic and folk in quieter rural parts? just a theory.

There are approximately a million bands in Kells. But I guess that's close enough to Dublin. Shouldn't you be studying for your Leaving Anna :P?

Bands in Drogheda can fall into those two same categories as well as a third which is the Frames/Ritter/all them boys-influence bands. And christ there's like a million bands here. In my class alone there are 5 bands!!!
