For the past couple of years I've being using CD Wow to buy any major releases that I wanted and I've bought the more obscure stuff from Amazon Market Place. However last week I bought a CD off a site called www.bangcd.com. The CD only cost €10.50, postage was free and it arrived within seven days. Is this the cheapest place to buy CDs online?

Spun.com is quite good for buying used CDs. Buying direct from the smaller record labels is often the cheapest (and coolest, they often throw in free random tat/promotional stuff).

Got 14 pretty recently relseased(all in the last 18 months) cds off djangos.com recently for a total of €120. Took 2 weeks for the last of the lot to arrive, but postage was free so I won't hold it against them.

Best philosophy is to shop around i say. Play.com can be cheaper and it's always worth checking for obscure stuff too. I've been surprised a couple of times. Got Alejandro Escovedo's new one for €9!
Yeah, Amazon.com is great sometimes too especially the marketplace.
Why not try these and see what yissers think:
www.insound.com
and

I find Cdwow to be cheaper than play.com unless you have to get something more obscure from the "warehouse"
