Anyone get "Wolves"? Lovely stuff. Missed em at Whelan's unfortunately but saw em support Low, excellent live. Theyve been getting the Scottish Arcade Fire tag but, bar a few moments, they're much more laidback.
Anyone see em or get the album?

A bit serious? Yeah, maybe. The singer seemed quite a sober chap when I saw em. One to keep an eye on at least!
Yo back Benni! Shame about the dissolution of Wartime DJs, eh? A big Vini shaped hole in yr life?

Hes stil Djing tho - as am I.. but not as much since the band got together.

Fantastic band, seen them twice in the last month, and great both times.
Wee interview with them at http://drop-d.ie/archive/article.asp?article=239

i was talking to them after the gig and they said they were playing Oxegen and another festival later in the year which i presume is EP, although i didn't think any band played both.

seen em in belfast no so long ago... was just OK... was the last nioght of their tour and you could tell... didnt seem like they could be bothered. plus the place has half empty.. petty.. but they have a very good sound which should lead to good things.. think some of their songs are a bit half baked... great ideas not developed.. but hopefully this jst means when they come out with more material it will be fantastic.. i believe its jst the beginning
