The Coldspoon Conspiracy, I saw them open for The Most Serene Republic last night (who were also very good) and was hugely impressed. Love the way their songs took such dramatic changes in tone, shifting dynamics, mutating paradigms, blah, blah, blah; very good, much better than their album would indicate.

Yeah, the album's a real grower i reckon, really coming into their own live now though. They're just back from a year in Australia, seems to have done them the world of good. Great band.

you're only the second person ever i've come across saying good things about The Coldspoons online. not that anybody ever slags them off...they just ignore them. anyway - excellent band. glad they're back in Dublin. all the new stuff sounds great. their album is terrific too.

do I have to say it again... The Immediate. They're supporting Flaming Lips in Amsterdam. Nice work if you can get it.

coldspoon didn't convince me last time round but recent reports have been good - will be interesting to see what they come up with
can't wait to see the strap again - saw them in the mean fiddler for 6 punts many moons ago and still ranks as one of my fave gigs ever
malcom midleton was selling t-shirts on the stairs before the gig!

Not strictly true. They played upstairs afterwards, but yeah...cool to play in the same building on the same night as the Lips.
