The Arctic Monkeys' hit single 'I Bet You Look Good On The Dance Floor' and KT Tunstall's 'Suddenly I See' will also contest the category of Best Song Musically and Lyrically.

David Ferguson, head of the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters, said: "At a time when music is getting disseminated across more and more platforms, at a time when more music is getting stolen than ever before, at a time when music is becoming increasingly ubiquitous in modern life, then it is critical to honour and reward the people who write and initiate the music we all enjoy."
The winners of the awards will be announced in London on 25 May.
