Was there four or five years back. Good festival. Heard Sonar By Day has gone a bit s**t since the residents complained about noise. There's talk of moving the whole festival (Day and NIght) out to the industrial wastelands where Sonar by Night goes on. Which would be the death of the thing. Sonar By Night is a filthy barn.

have heard the same ctrlaltdelete, but f**k it - Barcelona is such a great city anyway, with great clubs, so a festival gone to s**t there is probably better than a good festival somewhere else. Mates of mine who live over there are holding a party - 'ARSON' - at the end of the festival - there's around 1,000 tickets going I think, so if anyone is in Barca around the 18th of June, be sure to hit it.

Sonar by day is definitely the best part of it alright. Haven't been in 3 years. Thinking of going this year but hope it hasn't changed that much?

Yeah it'll still be a blast. check out the anti-sonar parties, supposed to be a riot. there's usually loads of related stuff going on in Barca at the same time, so keep an eye out.
