    was at this last night. Thought LL would win because their performance was excellent and the dude's voice is pretty good. But IMO LOST should've won - they have far more potential as a young band, and their style is sharper. Lotus' tunes are very dated. Anyone else there?

    I wasn't at it. LL won the Murphys Live thing as well, doing pretty well for themselves now. They are decent enough and good live alright i think and certainly have a comercial sound with a good front man to go with it but they might be just trying too much to be slick and trendy. Seem to me they'll be a hit with teenagers. Good luck to them though, good to see a Cork band doing well.
