Hilariously shocking. As The Dude's erstwhile bowling buddy Walter so eloquently put it in The Big Lebowski: 'Has the whole world gone f**king crazy!!!??'

I mean I could understand someone being arrested for listening to James C*nt sorry I mean Blunt, but picking on a guy for listening to the Clash and Zeppelin is just wrong.

sniggering aside, the Clash became a favourite band of Algerians fighting French occupation.

This kinda reminds me of last July, about a day or two after the London tube bombings, most people still in shock about something so close to home. I had an MP3 CD on in the car at full volume, an CD-R holds about 170 MP3s so you forget whats on it. "London Calling" by the Clash comes on, it was this extended dub remix version of it so it took me a while to cop it, which would have been fine had I been tearing along a main road at my usual pace, but it came on as I was stuck in traffic, in Cork city, in the summer, with the windows open... *cringe* ..lets just say adopting the slumped barely visible behind the steering wheel posture loved by baseball capped boy racers was probably actually advisable for once.
