About two years ago, I started going around telling people about Jack Johnson to a blank reception...you know who you are...and the latest edition of HOTPRESS has old Jack on the cover with a headline saying' Who The Hell is Jack Johnson, surfer, songwriter, eco warrior and 21st Century Superstar'. Now I am going to give you another tip...Teddy Thompson. http://www.teddythompson.com/ He's the son of Richard & Linda Thompson. He's going to be important.

Yeah his self-titled album is pretty good but he has a new one out now. He was previously over here supporting Martha Wainwright but plays Whelan's on the 13th of May. Jules, another one of the surf-pop legion, Xavier Rudd, is playing The Village soon.

He's kind of appealing in a charming type of way. Not a big fan though tbh. xm

had a quick peek at his website - he's clearly tousle-haired! come on now! not a huge fan of jack johnson's, find him a bit samey tbh, altho he's got a nice voice and he sure can play that geetar. this teddy seem to have a bit more about him tho.

teddy thompson is terrible, as is jack johnson... my opinion, like... marty whelan's a big fan, though

Super hot "now" artist or not, Jack Johnson does very little for me, it's alright, but just a bit bland still stands staring blankly, oblivious to Jules swiftly approaching right hook meh....
