Saw them play in the Point Depot about 3 years ago - an amazing concert, really theatrical, they had the stage dressed like a french boudoir. Then went to see them again last summer in Liverpool in a circus tent!! The sound wasn't great but it was still a fantastic show - my all time favourite band of all time of all time..very excited to be seeing them in a small setting like Vicar Street..this is gooood news!!! (Who said glam was dead?!!)

Nah Eno jumped ship long ago...and there's no sign of him coming back as far as I've heard. They're a really underrated band, in my ha girl playing with them now for the last few years in place of Eno - she plays keys, therimin and electric violin and she's amazing (but still no Eno!).

Good Eno quote from nearthe end of his days with RM. "You know things aren't working out when you're on stage in front of 200,000 people and thinking - did i remember to pick up my laundry?"

From tinymixtapes.com:
It's Confirmed! Roxy Music Reunite with Brian Eno
In events which once seemed only slightly less unlikely than Mike Bloomfield, who died in 1981, reuniting with Paul Butterfield, it was reported over the weekend that the legendary Roxy Music have been recording with the legendary Brian Eno for the first time in more than 30 years. The full original lineup of Roxy Music, including Eno, lead singer Bryan Ferry, guitarist Phil Manzanera, saxophonist Andy Mackay, and drummer Paul Thompson are working on a new album with producers Rhett Davies, and Chris Thomas. Preliminary planning is underway for a tour of Europe later this year, though neither times nor places have been confirmed.
Eno, among the most respected innovators in music, first came to prominence as a member of Roxy Music but left the group after their first two albums. He went on to release artistically successful, culturally significant solo albums and produce classic albums like Remain in Light (Talking Heads), The Joshua Tree (U2), and No New York (the quintessential no wave compilation). Though Eno last recorded with Roxy Music as a group in 1973, Manzanera contributed to many of Eno's solo albums, and Eno appeared on Ferry's last solo album Frantic in 2002. Roxy Music reunited without Eno in 2001 and played several acclaimed live shows in Europe last summer, including Live 8 Berlin. Their last album was Avalon, released in 1982.
In advance of the new Roxy Music album, an album featuring remixes of Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry classics by DJs and producers will be released.

From tinymixtapes.com.
Sorry Benni, i guess you'll be wanting that kiss back?
Contradicting Reports about Eno Involvement in Roxy Music Reunion
Billboard smashed all our hopes and dreams, every last one of us and every last one of them, when it reported yesterday that Brian Eno is not working with Roxy Music after all. Though an announcement, which has now been removed, on Roxy Music lead singer Bryan Ferry's official website said so, it seems that Eno is not working with the band he left 33 years ago. Apparently, the news blew out of proportion after an intrepid reporter learned that Eno had visited the band, who are working on a new album for the first time since 1982, in the studio. The story started on Ananova, and was then reported by NME before being picked up by this website and others. Tiny Mix Tapes regrets any dreams we may have given life to, and that we now have to slay them.
We're just going to let websites do the talking.
From the Official Bryan Ferry website a couple days ago: "Since the highly acclaimed Summer Dates of 2005, Roxy Music have been back in the studio for the first time for over twenty years. All five original band members, Ferry, Mackay, Manzanera, Thompson and Eno have been working on an album with producers Rhett Davies and Chris Thomas."
From EnoWeb: "NME.com is reporting Ananova.com's story that Roxy Music has reformed with Brian Eno in the line-up. This untrue and just in-good-faith wishful thinking from the journalists -- Brian has no involvement with the band's current recording or tour plans. All that happened was that Brian popped in to visit the members of the group when they were in the studio. Hearing of this, some journalist somewhere decided that it is a truth universally acknowledged that a solo artist in possession of a fine career must be in want of tinsel jackets, peacock feathers, ego clashes, laundry ruminations and everything else that goes with rejoining a band he left 33 years ago. Great oak false rumours from tiny fact acorns grow..."
From the Official Bryan Ferry website today: "Since the highly acclaimed Summer Dates of 2005, Roxy Music have been back in the studio for the first time for over twenty years."

I'm not the kinda guy to make up stories about bands getting together just to garner kisses from females!
Oh .... by the way, did you hear that John Lennon and George Harrison are actually alive and will be announcing details of a stunning Beatles reunion and world tour in the next few days.
