the only thing that makes this believable is bill drummond... once his name was mentioned in the article, it began to seem more than a possibility... sure, the man cannot be rivalled as a prankster extrodanaire!

Some parts of his book are hilarious. Don't know if I could call it his autobiography. I especially liked the one where himself and his mate hung a dead cow from one of the lamposts of a motorway in the UK. What the fk???!!

Yep, his book (45 I think it's called) is an interesting read. The man is complete disco biscuits, mad as a bag of otters but you have to admire his 'why the f*ck not?' attitude to doing things just to provoke a reaction. This is the same man who whilst managing Echo and The Bunny Men and The TearDrop Explodes tried to get one band to play simultaneous gigs in Indonesia and the other in Iceland whilst he himself stood on the corner of a street in Loverpool because he was convinced there were lay lines of energy from both points converging in Liverpool. Even if 5% of his book is true, he is still right out there
