Just reading Kevin Courteney in the Times who announced that the Arctic Monkeys album was the best debut since the Stone Roses. He also described Maximo Park as humdrum. My question is, is the world gone mad?

don't haul me up on a typo you pedant. i could point out that it's Arctic Monkeys not 'Artics Monkeys' as you suggest, but that would be churlish. so i won't. Read a story about a pile of AM fanboys vacating the Ambassador early, thus bailing on the headliner Maximo Park. if you weren't one of those, accept this as a climbdown.

Climbdown accepted ctlraltdelete....even if the other bands playing had been farting into bottles I would have still been unimpressed with Maximo Park....s'ppose we can't all like the same stuff..
