Folks at the risk of starting another Humanzi "discussion" (yes they were crap!), I am going to see Waterboys on Mar 4th and The Guggenheim Grotto are support. Are they worth going early for? What style/type of music do they play?

Mostly acoustic based rock, strong voice, decent lyrics, tight band. Good live too.

Ronan Collins plays them on Radio 1 - but don't let that put you off. Solid acousticish MOR but worth seeing.

Lads, what does MOR stand for again? Not "Middle of the Road" I hope... Anyway, for what it's worth I think they're unbeleivable and well worth checking out. They're up there as one of my favourite Irish band. Them and Republic of Loose are the only two getting regular spins here. Slightly different styles mind... ha ha.
