Previous Winners ... 2001 Relish 2002 No Award this year. 2003 Rubyhorse 2004 Rep of Loose 2005 Angels of Mon With the exception of republic of loose this list looks like a grim catalogue of failure. And I don't know who rubyhorse are. And there was no award in 2002. To sum up if one puts 2001 and 2005 beside each other it will look like a small, grim catalogue of failure.

Of the nominees I'd like to see Ch-1 get it. But I wouldn't like it to be the deathknell in their careers.

Its like the kiss of death, isnt it? Of the nominees, well both Ch-1 and Humanzi have MCD connections so I reckon it will be one of them as MCD run the Meteors and its usually a fix. Laura Izibor should win it - amazing voice, brilliant songs.

Shame. But the same could probably be said about cork bands beyond cork and so on.
