JAM  Jam is RTE throwing its doors open to a new generation of bands. Jam is going to take three bands where all of the members are 15 and under, put them on screen for the musical week of their lives. Each band works with an experienced musician mentor who helps them prepare for the big finale on Friday - a televised concert. Jam will take three bands direct from shed to screens nationwide with no record business stuck in the middle. Jam isn't about how to get a record deal or how to get famous - it's all about the music and performing it live in full effect. The week finishes with a gig on the Friday where all three bands get a chance to cut it live with a full-on set up.  All band members have to be aged 15 and under as of November 5th. We need a way of hearing you play - rough tape, cd, dvd, video tape. We need some information forms filled out. We need to get all this from you by October 7th for your band to have a shot.
