The last paraagraph throws open a world of motives. _______________ Simply Red star Mick Hucknall attacked during gig Simply Red star Mick Hucknall took evasive action during a Cuban gig earlier this week (begs29 August 05), when a fan jumped up onstage and attacked him. A stunned Hucknall was midway through his performance when he was forced to push a man trying to punch him into the venue's orchestra pit. The New Flame singer then walked offstage and ended the concert while police arrested the assailant. Hucknall's manager Ian Grenfell says, "It was bizarre. What is so worrying is that we don't know what the man's intentions were. "He was a Cuban American in his twenties and he stormed the stage and tried to attack Mick. "Police say the man was stoned but what is unclear is why he took exception to Mick."

It's really baffling how everyone refers to Mick Hucknall as a c**t because he's got red hair?? What else did he do to offend you? And don't cite his music as an excuse...way too easy.
