God this msg board sucks, typing this for the second time.. Don't worry Dinosaur Jr will rock, it's the original lineup of J, Lou and Murph and they're only playing stuff from the first 3 albums (Dinosaur, You're Living All Over Me and Bug). By all accounts they will be loud so bring your earplugs ;-) Anyone know what time they can be expected on stage? The tickets say doors open at 7.30pm. Also who is support?

Hey crumb great minds think alike I think we were posting in parallel there. Have you checked out http://www.freesofree.net/, they have an amazing collection of Dinosaur/Mascis stuff, the recent KEXP Seattle interview/live performance is a good place to start http://www.freesofree.net/albumdetail.php?AlbumID=208. You'll have to register to download but they're cool. The http://www.freakscene.net/ forums are also excellent karlvin if you want some more infos e.g set lists etc.

Well what was the verdict ? I for one would go for about a 7 / 10 , main reason they loose points for me was a strange set list , the crowd atmos was a bit muted and would like to have heard mountain man , apart from that though fab stuff. Is that it though ? will they be back ? I don't think so , so it was nice to see them before they disband again.
