anyone there? Class Class gig. 2 really great Irish bands that really are doing their own thing away from the clicky s**te we've been wading in for the past while.

I heard Humanzi were a bit hit and miss. Surprising, given all the good things I've heard so far.

Well not for me man I thought they put on a really really class show - my first time seeing them mind but I thought they were quite yknow powerful on stage. A lot of energy ykno. (apologies for the hippy talk)

hey, this might show how uninformed,ignorant and from the hills i truly am, but humanzi arent the same guys from (the excellent) cyclefly, are they? when i last saw cyclefly in dorans they mentioned that they were changing they're name to human or something...i could be very very wrong here, like a donkey reading a newspaper kind of wrong.im wrong arent i,?

I think the link is between Humanzi and Listo - but then again like I said that was my first time seeing them and I dont really know that much about them.

Hmmm yes I guess - but if that is another 'clique' I would see it as being a lot more youthful and innovative and progessive than that other one. I just really like to see a bunch of people being able to get together and support each others bands and actually start getting somewhere without having to kiss certains peoples asses. For the longest time I had an inate hatred for Irish music and for the first time in a very very long time I'm excited about it and thats made me pretty happy i guess.
