ibook/itunes question...need help!!!

    hey just bought an ibook,trying to put all my cds onto itunes but cant get it to recognise titles of songs,resulting in me having to do it all manually which is a bit of a pain in the arse.i've tried the apple site and everything seems to be as it should but still no joy.Anyone any ideas????Appreciate it.Lx

    Is the ibook connected to the net? Sometimes cd's aren't recognised on mine if the signal is poor. You can always click on 'Advanced' (on the top tool bar) and go for 'Get CD Track Names'. Sometimes it could be the quality of the cd you are trying to import or your controls aren't set up right.....hard to know unless I was flicking about on it.

    If the advice above hasn't sorted out your problem, give Apple a call on 1800-882029. It is a free phone number. They should be able to sort it out over the phone.

    oh god thanks a mil!Worked when i went to advanced! I was losing the plot.New to macs,taking a while to get my heqad round it.Cheers!!!!
