Pretty class eh? For those of you who missed them this year at Oxegen or supporting The Departure I seriously recommend catching this band. They're playing all over the place so there's no excuse if your not a Dublin resident!
6th September - Cyprus Avenue, Cork
7th September - Dolan's Warehouse, Limerick
8th September - Whelan's, Dublin
9th September - Nerve Centre, Derry
10th September - Limelight, Belfast

Very impressed with their set at Oxegen. And it looks like their debut album 'The Back Room' will be a double cd.

Really? Didnt hear about that. Interesting. They really are excellent both on record and live. I've only seen them twice and only heard of them since March but I can safely say I'm quite the fan.

What's with the Godawful band name, though? Editors. Editors! What were they thinking!? Great band though, even if they do sound like a carbon copy of Interpol, therefore Joy Division, therefore Velvet Underground...a good thing, of course.

Yea the name's a bit dodge - the one before it was worse tho - 'snow....' something or other and they only changed it cause of Snow Patrol. Plus you just know the omittance of 'The' in Editors was very much a though about move dont ya!
Besides all that superficial crap tho they are class and one of the best live perfomances (both times) I've seen this year. Roll on September. Ooooh Electric Picnic just prior to the date of that show... what a nice way to start that month!
