Yeah, I heard that last week, very impressed so I was. However I was more impressed with their recent ad for their broadcasting of Rambo 3 which included the caption: Rambo + The Taliban Vs. The Commies = Mayhem

yes, saw that myself. The sweet majesty of Explosions in the Sky coupled with images of GAA players pushing each other over. Very surreal.

GAA is surreal enough on its own, fully grown men pushin each other and for what? Cos they want to get the football and turf it up the other end of a mucky field. Madness.

That same song (and others from the album) was used to wonderful effect in "Friday Night Lights" recently, I'd imagine that's where they got the idea from. It's possibly my favourite film of the year so far and well worth checking out.

Yea I've heard Postal Service and God is an Astronaut among others on RTE advertisments. On a side note there is some ad on at the mo for a car I think and I'm almost positive the song is by Stereo Total - a tad vague I know (!) but does anyone know it?

Renault used "Moi, Je Joue" in a Laguna ad. But that was a while ago.
