I'm in New York at the minute and was listening to the radio yesterday. The DJ started interviewing this guy and was describing the music as "Hick-Hop", it's rapping over country music, sounded like an odd idea.
Jules, as our yee-haw guru have you heard about it?

Yes, I believe the artist in question is called Cowboy Troy, he's a 6'5" texan of colour in a stetson, he guest vocalised on the 2004 hit 'Rollin' by Big & Rich, his new album Loca Motive shipped a 100,000 copies in its week of release. I can't get it here so if y'all picked me up a copy then give you the money for it when you get back. I would have thought the Nelly and Tim McGraw hit 'over and over' was also 'hick hop'. By the way, the reason they don't appear in the video together in the one shot is because McGraw is a tall guy and Nelly ain't and they look silly standing beside each other, a bit like the movie 'Twins'.
Thank you for asking.

Thats the guy, I shall attempt to find a copy of said album. The only question is will it be under country, hip-hop or bizarre genre fusion?
