Top class album alright. Think I got that last year. Has it been re-released or have you just discovered it?

Only discovered them a few months back myself-have yet to delve into their back catalogue. I've been on their website (http://www.modestmousemusic.com/) and there's a couple of releases I havent heard of.Would you recommend anything in particular Gar?

hey everyone - new here. daragh, saw your review for "good news..." which was great but you really should invest some time in their earlier albums... "the moon and antartica" was a milestone album in good music

palace, thanks, im listening to "the moon..." at the moment, it is very good, but still kinda prefer "good news..." (so far) will give it a bit of time though, feels like a grower, its much more, eh conventional, than "good news..." me thinks, thats first impressions anyways

daragh, give it some time - hopefully it will grow on you... i just find "the moon..." really beautiful to listen to, technically very good and very consistent also... "good news..." is definitely a bit more quirky so i can see where you're getting your conventional comment... ...hope it's not another case of you find an album that blows your mind then investigate the back catalogue and find nothing that quite captures the feeling of the first album you fell in love with... understandably happens so often
