I've never been to a gig outside of Ireland but I just bought a ticket to see LCD Soundsystem play Webster Hall in New York in June. I'm really starting to look forward to this holiday now.

Interpol - Bowery Ballroom, NYC. Weezer - The Barrowlands, Glasgow. 2 Many DJs - APT, NYC. Interpol - ICA, London. If Glasto counts, 2003 beats all the above though. Radiohead, REM, Interpol, Flaming Lips, Streets, Doves, Grandaddy, SFA, AFX, Boom Bip, Blackalicious, Mogwai, Idlewild, Futureheads, Beth Orton, Sparta, Gemma Hayes, Kings of Leon, Erol Alkan, Lamb, Sigur Ros, Rapture, Hope of the States, Delgados, Dj Format... f**k me, that was good. edit: Damn, forgot Sleater-Kinney - The Warsaw, NYC. Those girls seriously rock live.

saw.... Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros live at Liverpool Uni. November 22nd 2002. It was a riot ! most people never understand how great that band were as a whole, or in fact how brilliant they were live, atmosphere was something else. Incidentley this was the last ever gig they played, Joe died exactly a month later. The only other gigs Ive been to would have been Oasis @ le Zenith in Paris 2002, great Venue, great performance.
