anybody know anything about these guys? Kerry band Ten Past Seven have won the Murphy’s Live 2005 music showcase. The Killarney band made it to the final eight in the nationwide competition which offered bands the chance to join the bill at Murphy’s Live gigs in Dublin Waterford, Cork and Killarney. Each of the final eight bands was judged on their live performance with Ten Past Seven coming out on top.

THESE GUYS ROCK saw them at Hard working class heroes last year and they were the only band all weekend that made me want to give it all up and join a band three kids from deepest kerry playing far-out instrumental metally rock without any pretensions or gobs**tery. mad introductions and fabulous wig-outs. hard to compare them to anything but there were shades of v early Therapy, fugazi, mars volta, big black and bad brains to them TWO THUMBS UP! actually just remembered that i heard about them first in the ticket last year in jim carroll's preview of the festival. he was damn right too

theyre involved with that limerick label Out On A limb so check their website. i remember talking to the drummer afterwards and he said that they were planning an album for 2005

yeah they're class, I've seen em live a few times and always really enjoyed it.
