The Postal Service are a band that started out as a side project of Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie and Jimmy Tamborello who makes solo records as Dntel and is also part of a group called Figurine. The album is called "Give Up" and its definitely reccomended. I originally picked my copy up in Virgin Megastore so I'd imagine its fairly widely available, if not the Sub Pop website has a shop where you can buy it from and the deliver to Europe: http://www.subpop.com/scripts/main/catalog.php

The first collaboration between Gibbard and Tamborello was actually the Dntel single "(This Is) The Dream Of Evan And Chan". It was released on the Plug Research label in 2002 and in my opinion it's as good as anything off the Give Up album. Also the album's been re-released with bonus tracks (including the Shins and Iron & Wine covering Postal Service tracks) so you make sure you get the new version.

Their album 'Give Up' is going for 12 quid down in Tower, in that cheap section just beside the main entrance. Download 'such great heights' for free from their website .Good band, though listening to a lot of Dntel recently.
