Taken from Bellx1's Studio Diary. We recorded a song for a forthcoming compilation record, Even Better than the Real Thing Vol 3, which will go on sale to raise money for the victims of the Asian Earthquake. It will be a record of covers of U2 songs, and we recorded the song Heartland.

Heartland is a good choice. As regards the album concept - as good a way to raise money for charity as any.

hmnnn... even better than the real thing is people taking dopey pop songs and playing them acoustically, sometimes finding something kinda soulful or unexpected in there. this new one is doing acoustic songs by a guitar band acoustically. y'know, they're just stripped down cover versions. anyway, its for charity, so if it sells well thats good. just seems like a not-very-well-thought-out idea.
