Anyone here off the Kerbdog on sat.
Im really looking forward to this one, there is a group of about 10 of us heading along.
I wonder will there be some wilt mixed in, i say that because alot of what formed wilts first album, was previously new kerbdog material, and they used to play it at the kerbdog gigs.
anyway, i should be interesting. A mate was saying that the sunday times did a spread on them yesterday, but i missed it

I don't know Kerbdog, but I do like Wilt's Bastinado and My Medicine. Are they one and the same, or what? Are wilt still around?
Where are they playing anyway?
Actually could you help me solve an argument? My other half thought on hearing Wilt for the first time it was REM, and is convinced ever since that they are a carbon copy, at least in the vocals dept. My response was of course "WHAT are you on about?!!"(or words to that effect but in of course a very loving manner). What do you think?

Kerbdog released two albums before throwing in the towel a good few years back now.
Cormac battle, the frontman from kerbdog went on to form wilt, using some of the late kerbdog material as input to the first album, bastinado.
There were different band members in both bands.
As for REM...eh..dont see that comparison myself, especially in the vocals dept. although, funnily enough, kerbdog used to cover "whats the frequency kenneth" at their gigs

My two cents:
No way do Wilt/Kerbdog sound anything remotely like REM. They're much harder in my estimation, closer to the likes of Nirvana , Soundgarden, Therapy even.
Might head along to that gig actually. Haven't had a good mosh in ages.
