Fair play Jules. A really well written piece. Very witty, insightful, entertaining and well plotted. Hopefully a national paper will pick it up and see what good writing exists here on Cluas. Well done mate. The only thing that remains now is for you to sing that song for us all.

Wot, no mention of pickup trucks* anywhere? Just kidding, major respec' is due. Johnny Cash "all of the above" made me smile. Oh yeah, the bit about Jesus had me thinking that "Personal Jesus" by Depeche Mode (and covered by Johnny Cash) might actually qualify as a bona fide country song, but then I looked back at the bit about chords and realised they had blown it by including a fancypants F#m. *I'll have one of these please, with extra fries: http://www.pjsautoworld.com/1970cars/1970chevyelcaminoss.html
