Hey, dont shoot the messenger. I know nowt about them, but saw the name mentioned a few times over Christmas in the 'Ones to Watch' files. As regards the NME, has their Say-They're-Great-Before-People-Realise-Their-Not reputation gone too far ? Is there anyway back for them to become a reputable mag again ? Seems to me that NME liking you can be a Millstone to a band, leaving you with your work cut out for yourself to have to (unnecessarily) win people over, unlike if you had a cleanslate.

Simple solution to all this bitching seems to be STOP READING NME!!! If you don't like the ravings that they ignite all the time then read another music magazine. Filter is quite good and available in Eason & Tower. If you can get a copy Paste from America is excellent, last issue contained a free cd and free dvd. Above all that both magazines are nicely laid out and contain good pieces of writing. Drop NME if it bothers you that much. This isn't aimed at anyone in particlaur but just anyone who is sick of the NME hype machine.

Has anyone heard that I Predict A Riot song? Everytime I hear that line "It's not very pretty I tell thee" I just think of Craig David in Bo Selectah. Apparently their new song is a vast improvement but they still remind me of Kula Shaker or some other washed up Brit Poppers.
