Read an interview with Jimi Goodwin from Doves recently, where he was asked if he had to pick a song that best described him - what would he choose? Jesus wept, that's a hard question...so what would you pick?

"Landslide" by Slash's Snakepit. It's about being bi-polar.

OR
No Surprises by Radiohead BECAUSE I HATE THE WORLD SO MUCH
I dunno, something by Radiohead anyways.

Baccara - 'Yes Sir, I can boggie'. Just listened to it and the lyrics *spoke* to me
Maybe, I want to keep my reputation,
I'm a sensation,
You try me once, you'll beg for more
Poetry, I tells ya!

My own would probably be something like 'Strange Little Girl' by the Stranglers...for obvious reasons

I'm getting slapped again aren't I.
I'm off to listen to "The Queen is Dead" again, only Morrissey understands me.

Does Kinky Friedman record other peoples tunes, because if he does then you HAVE to write that one and send it to him.

Yes *picks up frying pan*, nothing personal you understand old chap, *SPANG!* just generic nastiness, no hard feelings.
Yes its definitely geeky, but I think it could be the start of a new genre "geek country". Of course, Josh Ritter will claim he invented it first with that song "stuck to you" about the Teflon in frying pans and other stuff, but my henchmen can deal with him. Geek country: C'mon Jules, you know it'll work!
Thats not the geekiest song title though, not even close. That award goes to a real song by a band called Barcelona entitled "I have the password to your shell account"
