Anyone else go ??? thought it was a f**king cracking gig meself ! fist 20 mins though the sound was s**t and I though this was gonna be another potentially great night ruined by poor sound but it was sorted soon enough. That would be my only critisim of what was a top top gig. Is Mick Pyro THE best frontman ever or wha ?

My first time seeing them play, really enjoyed the gig. The front man is exceptional, really brought the crowd into it, particularly with the staring at the back wall and sitting on the ground! Didn't realise it was the norm to grow a beard when going to a ROLoose gig - never seen so many together in one room before!

Must say top performance by ROL, but don't forget the 2 supports who were both equally on top form and really put on a fab show - sorry didn't catch their name....

with all due respect you can't be gettin out much if thats yer opinion, I mean the lead guitarist if thats what he is indeed meant to be just simply CANNOT PLAY THE f**kING GUITAR !!!!! all he was good for was leering and grinning at his 'MOCK MOD' mates down the front. The lead singer does a substandard impression of any 60's psyche garage band lead singer that you care to mention, they are all about as interesting to watch as a dead giraffe and well despite the fact that they have also no good songs or spark of originality.. they'll do then will they... ? well ?????????

Sorry Eoin...your talking out of yer arse....Humanzie are one of the most interesting, exciting and original new bands I've seen in Dublin in ages. The guitarist is f**kin' deadly..he played that Gibson like a maniac for f**k's sake. Since when is it a crime to smile at your mates in the crowd or look like you're enjoying yourself? They are such a tight band and blew Pete Pampf off the stage ..who was a piss poor effort of a Beastie Boys/FLC tribute act...I'm convinced you were watching some other band anyway and not Humanzie..based on the fact that you have somehow come up with 60s Garage...what band were you watching???? Your tone in respect to them is a bit agressive and I get the disctinct inpression you either know them or of them and (here we go again) have to resport to slagging their mates off or whatever to back up your point....bitterness is a terrible, terrible thing.

Jaysus, just read this now.....
Well Eoin as afr as saying I don't get out much, I presume you are talking about to other gigs, FYI, in the last few weeks I have seen the Beta Band, The Prodigy, Mylo, Two Lone Swordsmen yada yada yada, and to me Humanize or bloody rocking, and created at least as much energy as the above, they got the crowd going, and there was a good crowd there early enough to keep the interest, they did blow the second band off the stage, they have a wicked drummer, bassist and lead guitarist. Singer has got energy, lots of energy, and who cares what their mates look like btw, you don't go to a gig to look at the crowd.
Eoin my good man, don't be bitter.

Calm down my friend, civil discussion here. passion communicates no middle ground across the keyboard (i.e. a heated argument can just seem ANGRY!!!!)

Alright,
Firstly I apologise, I understand reading these comments back that I may have seemed a little agressive & personal in my criticism, it was a late night !
I would standby my criticisms of Humanzie musically though and I believe that the reasons I outlined for not liking them are valid enough for me not to like em. But then again its all about opinions, i'm sure plenty of folk here may have various reasons for disliking mucic/bands that I think are good and thats ok.
so apologies if I have offended anyone, you all seem like such a nice bunch of folk too !

Archie the peacemaker, I quite like the sound of that...and of course everybody in the world is nice...
Anyway, I've never had the pleasure(?) of hearing Humanzie, and have never heard RoL live. Did like the snippets of the album I heard. I'm thinking of investing, but spare cash and Christmas don't go hand-in-hand.
