Saw him in Whelans there the other day. He really has some talent, has come out of himself a lot since the days of supporting Paddy and the album is well worth it. Amazing voice, hard to believe some of the songs were written by Declan, some really deep stuff on there, but highly recommend it. Had become a little disallusioned with that whole scene myself but Declan is a good guy.

Disagree. I think its a great debut album with at least six really great tunes. Going along to the Whelan's show this Wednesday to check him out live.

yeah the album really is worth it, there's not really anything on it that you'd say is absolute s**te. Yeah it was real nice of Paddy and Mundy doing the support thing(as if they wouldn't), Paul Brady being there really made his night though! He was thrilled!Def go on wed, will be a great night!

I don't know what ye're on about. In fairness his album is probably better than 'Living' (althought maybe not as strong as 'Amen')
Anyway, he does nis own thing. While it might be close to Damo Dempsey or Paddy Casey, it his own style and a great one it is too. His lyrics, melodies and guitar playing is fantastic.
One of albums of the year!
