well hello...
now if "the odds" can "play the point" (capacity 8,000 ish) & some upstart Irish Band can headline one of our most pretigious venues the olympia (capacity 2,000 ish)then I have decided to form a band and rent Wembley for summer 2006.
Tickets will be on sale via s**ttymaster @ 75 euro which i think is fair for such a gig. We'll be doing a warm up in mikeleen o muairacho's in ballyroobogster this week. Support from Nuala & the bin bags.. sure wit a bita practice weeeee'll have wembly rockin wont we all. If you would lika free ticket email inyourflippindreamsyabogmaster@scoobydo.co.com.ie.net
This post will auto destruct after 24hours... i feel a carnival atmosphere in the soap box at the moment so thought i would con-tri-bute..... god i am goin to have to apologise for this post

yeah, in fairness the lads ( that are renting the olympia and...to a more mysterious extent those renting the point) are actually doing something. but enough of standing up for people i dont know and if i did know might not necessarily even like! ha.

Why, Dude, that just sounds super. It's great to see someone doing something super for the Irish music industry instead of wallowing in apathy. As we all know, it's those damn major labels, pesky A&R types (oh, the pests!) and the ignorance of the Irish general public that's keeping super bands like our super-group down.
What the country needs right now is a hard-working ambitious supergroup that sound like an alternative version of Radiohead and Jeff Buckley. Super!
