What would be your ideal line-up for two nights in one venue? Max of eight acts allowed. First night acoustic and second rock. Only Irish acts allowed. Who would you choose?

Interesting:
A Venue first I suppose. Id pick the village, I reckon it has come on in leaps and bounds since it opened. Sound is better and the sound desk is now moved. The entrance and toilets are sill a pain though.
Anyway, in order of appearence
Friday / Acoustic Night:
Martin Finke - Gotta love this guy
Charis - Id be interested in hearing an acoustic set of their stuff
Damien Dempsey - Another person who knows how to knock out a good acoustic song
Bell-x1 - Another band id like to hear knock out an acoustic set
Sat / Rock Night
The Things - Their live performance is class when they are on form
Turn - Always good for a bit of rock
Future Kings of Spain - Because they are the FKOS
Rep. Of loose - Its the cluas board, everyone knows why.
There are the obvious big boys who ive left out, the frames, ricer, snowpatrol.
I feel that the inclusion of these would spoil the attendence in favour of the big boys
which i wouldnt want on my irish night
You could argue that all of the above are established on the irish music scene, and that is a valid point, but there are so many bands doing the rounds that you could make 3/4 of these listings.
The above fit the music im listening to at the moment, and hence their inclusion

Kind of limits the choice but here ye go:
I think I would pick Vicar Street as the Acoustic Venue
Acoustic:
Ronan O'Snodaigh - His debut album is the most beautiful piece of acoustic music.
Rodrigo Y Gabriella - Ok these aren't Irish but they are a big part of and made theirs name's in the Irish music scene - pure class.
Damien Dempsey - I'll agree with Klootfan on this one - seen him at Lisdoon last year - excellenté
For the "rock" venue I think i'd pick the Red Box - it's basically just a big square which I think the sound is always good at.
Republic Of Loose - I have only recently got around to getting the album and it's bloody great - I would love to see them live.
Simple Kid - Just deadly. (But maybe not classed as rock)
Jimmy Cake - Always an energetic show.

For acoustic night I would have it in Vicar Street with:
Jenny Lindfors (Rising talent, playing in Doyle's tonight)
Declan O'Rourke (Debut album out Sep 22nd, sure to be a big hit)
The Mighty Stef (Former Subtonics man now solo, excellent live)
Mark Geary (New album out Aug 27th, superb live act)
For rock night I would have it in The Village with:
The Things (Furious rock at a pumped up tempo)
The Urges (Impressive act who seem to get better all the time)
Wallmark (Debut album on the way, great live)
Republic Of Loose (Simply the best live performers around)
