So what do we think of the hard working class heroes line up ?
www.hwch.net
Did the right people get selected ?
Who is missing people would have liked to seen ?
Is it just the same old people or did they give ample opportunities to newbies ?

I think its a great line-up with at least ten or so acts that I would be defintely interested in seeing. A nice mix of artists from different genres. Anyone know when tickets are on sale? Will it be like the Bud Rising Festival taking place in various venues on different nights? Who's up first?

Is this in competition form or what comes at the end of it, just loads of gigs?
Good few well known acts in there

Yeah I agree about the 66e and what about Stand ?
Also I thought the idea was to give unsinged artists/bands a chance , as far as I know people like Ian Archer , Turn , The Walls etc are signed ? or at least have enough PR behind them to not need this. Or would that just be ridiculous as nobody go to a festival of unsigned acts ?

From what I gather on their website there will be a signed band night and an unsigned band night and some industry events too. I am more trying to get my head around how they plan on putting 100 bands on over three nights (i think it's 3 nights) and except to get a crowd at everything - in fact it looks like they will be placing bands in direct competition with each other if they are putting events on simultaneously, is that not kind of missing the point? I thought the reason why it worked so well last year was because you had a good mix of established bands alongside newer bands with (supposedly) no hierarchy of importance, and got to see them all if you wanted cos they ran two consecutive nights that were jam packed. I understand maybe they couldnt do the Jools Holland type thing again this year (pity cos that really worked) so are going to have to use different venues but i hope they won't be putting stuff on simultaneously...anyone know what the story is?

When will the full details be released?
Hopefully not many acts will clash as I want to see loads that are playing.

From the HWCH line-up, who are people most looking forward to seeing?
I have to say Ann Scott, Nina Hynes, Jenny Lindfors, Alphastates, Jesse & Layla, Fred, Juno Falls, La Rocca, Pony Club, Red Sea Pedestrian, Silver Addictive, Sean Needham, Stanley Super 800, The Mighty Stef, The Rags, The Chapters, Waiting Room.
Then coming off cracking sets in Oxegen, Acidtone, The Urges and Republic Of Loose. I have a feeling alot of these acts will clash but I'm just going to be trying to see as many as possible.
