So what do we think of the hard working class heroes line up ? www.hwch.net Did the right people get selected ? Who is missing people would have liked to seen ? Is it just the same old people or did they give ample opportunities to newbies ? .................., A Alphastates Andalusia Angels of Mons Ann Scott Army of ID Acidtone B Berkelely Blue Tonic Blink 8 Ball C Crash Kill Seven Chalets D Da Capo Dark Room Notes Dwight E Echogram Ellison 9 F Fair Verona Fairuza First Dog In Space Fractured Fred Fighting With Wire G Gary Dunne Gavin Glass Ginseng Gregor 57 H Ham Sandwich Hy Brasil Humanzie Hundred Bullets I Iain Archer Identity Parade Immunize J Jamie Lawson Jeff Martin Jenny Lindfors Jessie and Layla Joe Chester Jove Juno Falls K Kader Fire Katell Keineg L La Rocca Leya Lost M Mainline Matt Lunson Me in the Park Mike Got Spiked Mixtwitch Morello N Nassau Neosupervital New Vegas Niall James Holohan Nina Hynes P Pat Barrett Payola Polar Pony Club Primed R Random Red Sea Pedestrian Republic of Loose Rulers of the Planet S Sack Sunways Salthouse Saville Sean Needham Shuffler Silver Addictive Stanley Super 800 Stars of the City Sundogs T Ten Past Seven The Betes Noires The Chakras The Immediate The Maladies The Mighty Stef The Radio The Rags The Real The Rotators The Subtonics The Urges The Voyeurs Toco The Chapters The Bray Vista The Ultra Montanes The Mircales(Ex Whipping Boy) The Walls Turn The Grace V Valerie Francis Velvetron Veneer Vintage Mode W Waiting Room

I think its a great line-up with at least ten or so acts that I would be defintely interested in seeing. A nice mix of artists from different genres. Anyone know when tickets are on sale? Will it be like the Bud Rising Festival taking place in various venues on different nights? Who's up first?

Yeah I agree about the 66e and what about Stand ? Also I thought the idea was to give unsinged artists/bands a chance , as far as I know people like Ian Archer , Turn , The Walls etc are signed ? or at least have enough PR behind them to not need this. Or would that just be ridiculous as nobody go to a festival of unsigned acts ?

From what I gather on their website there will be a signed band night and an unsigned band night and some industry events too. I am more trying to get my head around how they plan on putting 100 bands on over three nights (i think it's 3 nights) and except to get a crowd at everything - in fact it looks like they will be placing bands in direct competition with each other if they are putting events on simultaneously, is that not kind of missing the point? I thought the reason why it worked so well last year was because you had a good mix of established bands alongside newer bands with (supposedly) no hierarchy of importance, and got to see them all if you wanted cos they ran two consecutive nights that were jam packed. I understand maybe they couldnt do the Jools Holland type thing again this year (pity cos that really worked) so are going to have to use different venues but i hope they won't be putting stuff on simultaneously...anyone know what the story is?

When will the full details be released? Hopefully not many acts will clash as I want to see loads that are playing.

From the HWCH line-up, who are people most looking forward to seeing? I have to say Ann Scott, Nina Hynes, Jenny Lindfors, Alphastates, Jesse & Layla, Fred, Juno Falls, La Rocca, Pony Club, Red Sea Pedestrian, Silver Addictive, Sean Needham, Stanley Super 800, The Mighty Stef, The Rags, The Chapters, Waiting Room. Then coming off cracking sets in Oxegen, Acidtone, The Urges and Republic Of Loose. I have a feeling alot of these acts will clash but I'm just going to be trying to see as many as possible.
