Inspired by an article in a certain respected movie mag a few months back, regarding movies people love when then know they should'nt, ive decided to kick this thread off.
Anyway, here goes.
This is harder then i thought...cough, cough
"Miss Congeniality"
There, ive said it. Maybe its the Sandra Bullock factor, i duno. I bought it on DVD secondhand for 3 euro a while back. And i thought it wasnt bad. Im not saying id give it an oscar, but i havent exactly thrown it out either.
Shocking Stuff

worst film I own is Earth Girls are Easy, directed by Julien Temple and starring Geena Davis, Jeff Goldblum and Jim Carrey, i thought I was on a winnner, jesus I was wrong.
"Tommy Boy" with David Spade and Chris Farley is probably one I'm most ashamed of. I shouldn't laugh, but I do, a lot.

I don't have any DVDs in my collection I'm ashamed of, but thats mainly because I only have about five. I find I buy a movie, watch it maybe twice and then never watch it again, even if its a really good one. The only one I've really watched a lot is Ronin, theres just something very relaxing about watching car chases involving large saloon cars beeing hammered round tiny French streets and lots of stuff being blown up. Plots decent enough to make it watchable too.

I find that I buy a s**t load of DVDs and only ever watch them a few times but I keep on buying them. I don't really have any DVDs I'm ashamed of, but I did get a box set containing 3 three Sean Connery films that I have never even watched. The only one that I can remeber from the box set is hunt for red october, it doesn't really float my boat (sorry, couldn't help myself)

I bought Sphere starring Dustin Hoff, Samuel L J, Sharon Stoned, Jeff Goldie and others, based on the book by Michael Crighton. What could POSSIBLY go wrong?
Worst film since Annie. What is Jeff Goldie's problem? What sort of a mucksavage has he for an agent?
If anybody wants this dvd let me know and it's yours.

"Ian Curtis is one of the most important figures in the history of music."
I don't know if I'd go that far.
Embarrassing movies...I love A Walk to Remember, with Mandy Moore. Horrible predictable sappy tear jerker...love it.

i was going through a really really big stones phase a while back (mostly the ealry stuff, but i did venture up to 'some girls' - terrible album!) anywho, i was in chartbusters rifling through the used bargain bin when i stumbled upon a mick jagger film 'running out of luck' - 3yoyos, so i had to buy it. it's from '86 i think, and it's F-ing brutal.....but lets not be hasty, it's in that category of film that its.......so bad & tacky that it turns out to be brilliant fun, ala: the doors movie.
so in a nutshell there's a bit of shame & pride owning that movie!
