Were they really that good? I knew I should've got a ticket. Did anyone go see Nina Hynes? Or anyone go to Brendan O'Shea? Or anyone go to Doyles to see Ann Scott and Bill Coleman? So many good gigs on last night and I missed them all.

Yeah, it was a quality gig. The place was steaming( literally, it was packed and sweaty as hell) They played all the oldies and a good few new ones. The crowd went nuts for them. The new stuff sounds great.

The gig really was that good. Being honest I dont think I have ever been at a better gig or will ever see one that could possibly top The Kings last night. From the minute I entered the TBMC you could feel the enrgy in the air. The new material is amazing and sounds like it will easily be on a par with Youth and young manhood if not even better. Bring on the new album. Plus they were out in the bar after the gig signing autographs and getting pics taken. Sheer Class
