Actually, to be pedantic, Christy was buying a Compact Disc. A record is something from the Stone Age made from vinyl with a hole it it...and sometimes not...depending on how flush with cash your record company was. Don't forget, Satan is real

haha Jules, I knew some one would pull me up on the definiton of a record, and yeah in the common vernacular you are absolutely right. Most peoples definition of record is a vinyl disc Thing is I still call compact discs records, I reckon its correct, because its still an audio recording, the only difference is that its on a digital optical medium, with a smaller frequency range and encoded using an inneficient algorithm instead of using small variations cut into a vinyl groove to record sound. I genuinely use the term "vinyl" when referring to vinyl records. I need a life, or a hobby or something...
