Anyone else trying to get tickets for glastonbury? I've been tryng to book some since they went on sale over 5 hours ago with no luck. This year only one website (aloud.com) is selling them and that site isn't working too well.

My mate was on the job last night trying to get the tickets booked and spent three & 1/2 hours trying and got pissed off, so gonna try again this morning. Nightmare.

Tis a bit s**t alright, tried site this morning aswell, still keeps crashing out, poor deal, but when events liek this go on sale through just one certain site and loads of people try and get hits, the poor servers just can't handle it. I'm just gonna go to a different festival.

Anyone I know who has managed to get a ticket so far (about 6 of them) has used the phone line. I myself am still trying the site as I can't ring from work. Judging by the boards of the official site it's a big problem for everyone.

Yeah, the phone line was the way to go alright. Ah well, all us unlucky ticketless people can do is pray for rain.

The INternet, what a load of bollix. On a positive note maybe some day we will have a deadly festival in Ireland to rival glasto?? and not just the cattle mart/concentration camp, 5euro a pint atmosphere of wittness. What do ye think the chances are?
