I'm going to have to go for lambchop. I saw them a few years ago and they were amazing, they have about 14 people in the band and the sound is incredible. Also, the new double album is great, can't wait to hear it live. Its actually a gig fest of a weekend. Theres a great 11 piece funk band called the Quantic Soul Orchestra playing the village on Friday 26th, then Snow Patrol on the sat and lambchop/SFA on the Sun. Happy daze

Tough call that one. I've seen both a few times and they are both quality live. If you are familiar with both their work, I'd go with Lambchop. SFA always put on a great show, it's a lot more upbeat and you are guarenteed a good night even if you've never heard one of their albums.

If anyone is into Gospel I'm singing with a Gospel band/choir in Trinity college (Samuel Beckett Theatre) on Saturday 27th - it's a 2 hour set of soul/blues stuff :)

Hey Dirty...no other dates set at the moment but we'll defo be doing more gigs. We're also discussing doing a recording of Marvin Gay's 'What's Going On?' album too, which would be pretty cool! What's d buzz wit u and yr mighty men these days?!

Lambchop are deadly By the way, Deanna from Lambchop is also playing a gig on March 31st, in The Parlour, which is upstairs in the Stag's Head. She's an established songwriter outside of Lambchop too. Gettaroom (featuring members of Settler and House of Mexico) support, as well as songwriter Ian Whitty http://www.gettaroom.com
