About a year ago I went to see my first gig of a band called the ‘The Year the Monkeys Landed’, straight away I knew (outside that the name was probably too long lol) the band had allot of potential but there was something missing which I couldn’t put my finger on.

On going to see them for the second time the band had gained a new member and after listening to the trio since then it made me realize I couldn’t recall the last time a band had taken on a new member who fit in so perfectly.

On the music side of things... the lyrics are unique and probably conjured up from someone’s own personal misery (which is part of what makes a first-class song). The sound itself is excellent, it gets you bobbing your head and wanting to sing a long.

I would definitely recommend checking them out.
