The Urges are the hottest and coolest shit to come out of Ireland since Them featuring Van Morrison early in the sixties. The boys in The Urges came crawling out of their den in 2004 and have since then kicked some serious ass with their stripped-down-psychedelic-primal-zombie garage punk, with loads of fuzztone guitars and organs. They’ve played with just about everything from heroes like Billy Childish, The Buzzcocks, and The Electric Prunes to indie bands like The Strokes and The Zutons.
