GRAHAM DAY & THE GAOLERS: Graham Day is garage punk royalty who was a founder member of cult band “The Prisoners”. The Prisoners are now lauded as the great pioneers of modern day garage while the NME described them as one of the most influential bands of the 80s. Everyone from Oasis’ Noel Gallagher to Radio One’s Steve Lamacq claim to love them, taking in Ian Brown and the Horrors along the way. Graham Day has also played drums with Billy Childish in Thee Mighty Caesars and Bass in Wild Billy Childish & The Buff Medways. He's joined in his latest incarnation Graham Day & The Gaolers by Dan Elektro and Buzz Hagstrom from legendary US garage band The Woggles.

Draped in customary outfits of matching blazers, skin tight white jeans & Chelsea boots, their image much like their music is heavily steeped in the 60’s Garage Rock/Beat traditions. They’ve built on that sound in places & you wouldn’t be paying attention if you didn’t notice lots of ‘70’s Punk techniques in there too. Their sound was incredible with distorted guitars & pounding drumbeats that could rival any of your favourite Garage Bands. The crowd lapped it up too, pushed up close & remained within an inch of the band the entire night. And who could blame them?
Gig Review - The Academy Dublin Riot 77Forget the White Stripes, if you want to hear how garage rock should sound then this is a pretty damn good place to start.

THE REVELLIONS: With a pounding rhythm section, a swirling and moody organ player, a guitar player that shoots out daunting riffs like early morning target practice and a psychotic vocalist that screams like a drunken banshee, The Revellions know how to keep it primitive.
http://www.myspace.com/therevellionsTHE BLOODY SHANKS: Combining biting organ and reverb drenched guitar, Dublin Garage Punks The Bloody Shanks play stomping two minute songs, propelled along by a driving rhythm section. Taking influence from 60s bands like The Rolling Stones and The Kinks, '77 Punk bands The Clash and Buzzcocks and anything good, The Bloody Shanks' live performances are loud and raw.
