Empire Music Studios
Our company was founded by a musician who is part of a band and had difficulty finding a convenient and inexpensive location to practice. Some buildings do not allow loud music and many apartments do not have enough space to set-up music equipment or store them until the next practice.  After a while, various band members searched for inexpensive music rehearsal space and could not find any in Manhattan or anywhere around New York City. Empire Music Studios emerged from these frustrations.

Construction began on our first rehearsal rooms in the middle of 2008. By the end of 2008, we had built 17 specially designed, sound proofed music rehearsal studios. They rented very quickly. This year, we have already built 21 more rooms. This brings our total to 38 music rehearsal studios.

Since we are minutes from Manhattan via train, bus or car and offer high quality studios at a fraction of the cost charged by others in New York, we continue to see strong demand and rent our rehearsal spaces quickly. As a result, we are working on plans to build additional rehearsal spaces and hope to have as many as 100 studios within the next year.

We are located at 47-32 32nd Place, 2 blocks south from the 7 train stop at 33rd Street (about 10 minutes to/from NYC).

The entrance is on the corner of 32nd Place, between 47th and 48th. Look for the sign that says “City Closet Storage” then walk or drive up the ramp. Our offices are to the left.
