    Icarus just mentioned it on the Dagger Lees thread but it deserves its own thread: Delorentos have announced that they will split up.

    A shame: great tunes and by all accounts a decent bunch of people. Hopefully they'll be back with new bands and music very soon.

    Yeah, adios and adieus to probably the biggest band to emerge from Ireland in the last decade. I was honestly never a fan, but they didn't write any bad music either. So by all means good luck to them in the future.

    Now I understand that Ronan is leaving and the remaining members will record and release one last album. Are they going to tour and promote it?

    I could never get over how much the chorus of Stop resembles Arcade Fire's Tunnels.

    ah jeez..had the good fortune of promoting the Delorentos in the North-West a couple of years ago. Top band and gentlemen one and all
