The "Pharaoh House Crash" track that appeared on the first Irish Unsigned CD, "Scene Unheard", is to be used in the TV programme, 'Bachelors Walk', (Mondays, 9.30, RTE2) for three weeks from November 24th - this week coming.
The band made quite a few contacts through the IU CD, and one of them, the DJ Gavan Kierans, suggested the song to the programmes producers.
The storyline is that the character "Barry", who works in a recording studio, discovers a band called "The Margins" and decides to manage them. The fictional band "The Margins" are Pharaoh House Crash.
The two songs that you will hear when he plays their demo are 'Four On The Floor' from "Scene Unheard" and "See Over The Top" by Pharaoh House Crash.
The track "Four On The Floor" -remixed - may be released early in the New Year, so watch out for it.
The show has viewing figures of 300 000, so it will go a long way to bringing the bands music to a wider audience. It's also good news for IrishUnsigned and future projects to be able to point to this sort of uptake.
The track "Four on the floor" along witha couple of remixes, can be heard on the Artists section of www.IrishUnsigned.com
