Small hours with Donal Dineen has always been great even if its on late, you can listen to an archive of the previous weeks shows on todayfm.com anyway and thats what I listen to in work in the morning.

Is that fantastic Irish music show as gaeilge still on Spin South West (and maybe Spin other places) on Sunday mornings?

Funnily enough I work for Spin South West, it is! The show's called 'Spin Alt'- loads of Irish music. Barry Creed used to present it, but I think he may have finished up, there was a new bloke doing it last week, don't know if he was just a stand in or a more permanent fixture. It's on tomorrow at 9:45, by the way.

It is still on Sunday mornings pity bout the time though. Spin would do well to put it on some other time. In fairness some of the stuff on that radio is terrible, like that spin talk. Heard they were discussing having ginger hair once now thats painful

I agree about the time of spin alt, but not spin talk- yes, some of the topics aren't ultra serious, but then again every station does it. Derek Mooney, Joe Duffy, Sean Moncrieff and every weekday morning show talks about nonsense at some stage. In fact, as I'm speaking Moncrieff is doing an impression of a viking...not funny. Oh yes, and Duffy has Brush Shiels on for the last Friday of every month- their attempts at doing songs based on whatever current affair is hogging the headlines that week are atrocious.
