Just a shame the prices are so high and the sound so s**t... Is the YLT track you mention "Nuclear War"? it's a motherf**ker...

jeremy, the to la tengo track i was on about was one he played from their imminent record 'summer sun' called 'little eyes'...georgia on whispervocals and presumably providing the utterly compelling percussion...amazing spectral spaceguitar from ira and inventive bass as always from james...i.e. classic yo la tengo...the 'nuclear war' track was played by jay ahern aswell a few weeks ago...i think it was a timely one-off single...brilliant isn't it?...by the way, dave fanning's occasionally interesting tv show 'the last broadcast' played a live ylt track 2 weeks ago...a pleasant surprise!
